Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a certified Emergency Medical Technician to respond to emergency calls, stabilize patients, and provide life-support care. You will work with the EMS team to deliver rapid care in pre-hospital settings across the Central Massachusetts region.

The role requires MA EMT certification, CPR, and a valid driver license, with a schedule including 12-hour shifts and mixed coverage. A signing bonus may be available and benefits are provided by the system.

Qualifications

• Required: EMT certification by MA Department of Public Health.
• Required: CPR - Basic Life Support (Red Cross or AHA).
• Required: Valid driver license.

Responsibilities

• Administers skilled medical care to emergency calls.
• Examines, assesses and stabilizes patients at the scene.
• Performs definitive life support and coordinates with on-call physician.
