Job summary

Heartland Ambulance in Indiana is seeking full-time Emergency Medical Technicians to provide emergency medical care, patient assessment, and transportation while upholding confidentiality and professionalism.

You must have EMT certification, CPR, a valid driver's license, a high school diploma or GED, be at least 18, and have a clean driving record. You will operate ambulances, perform basic life support, stock supplies, and maintain vehicle cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Must have valid State EMT certification.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current and valid Driver's License.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• No more than 2 accidents or moving violations in the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient operation of ambulances and equipment.
• Basic life support treatment and transportation of sick and injured persons.
• Providing emergency medical treatment and patient assessment.
• Prepares inventories and stocks supplies and inspects equipment.
• Cleans and disinfects interior and exterior of the ambulance; maintains cleanliness.
• Must be able to safely lift, transfer and maneuver patients in various locations.
