Job summary

Heartland Ambulance in Indiana seeks a dedicated Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to provide emergency medical care, patient assessment, and transport services while upholding confidentiality and professionalism. The EMT will operate ambulances and company equipment safely and perform basic life support duties as part of a compassionate care team.

The role requires EMT certification, CPR certification, a valid driver's license, and being at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

Must have valid State EMT certification.
Current CPR certification.
Current and valid Driver's License.
High School Diploma or GED.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
No more than 2 accidents & moving violations in the last 3 yrs.

Responsibilities

Safe and efficient operation of ambulances and other company equipment.
Basic life support treatment and transportation of sick and injured persons.
Providing emergency medical treatment.
Prepares inventories and stocks supplies and inspects equipment for proper operation.
Cleans and disinfects interior of ambulance. Cleans and details exterior of ambulance. Cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness and proper stocking of the ambulance, company vehicles, equipment, office, lounge, and bathrooms.
Must be able to safely lift, transfer and maneuver patients in and out of ambulances, facilities, residences and other locations.
