Job summary

Allegiance Mobile Health in Jasper, TX is seeking an EMT-Basic to provide essential pre-hospital care and emergency medical assistance. The EMT-B will respond to 911 calls, assess patient conditions, perform basic life support procedures, and assist in patient transport and transfer.

This role requires strong communication, a calm demeanor under pressure, and a commitment to patient care. Qualified applicants must hold a Texas EMT license, CPR certification, and read/write/interpret English

Qualifications

High school graduate or GED.
Certified as an EMT in the State of Texas.
CPR certification.
PHTLS or ITLS.
Communicate effectively.
Read, write, and interpret instructions in English.
Previous experience preferred in emergency care.
Must possess a valid Texas drivers license and be insurable.

Responsibilities

Responds to emergency and non-emergency calls 24 hours per day and operates a variety of emergency vehicles.
Reads maps and follows directions to respond efficiently and safely.
Maintains vehicles and equipment in a constant state of readiness and cleanliness.
Completes patient care reports, billing information, and related documentation in a timely manner.
Provides direct patient care per Medical Director's authorization and protocols.
Interacts with police, fire, and other agencies and maintains professional contacts.
