Job summary

SMCAS in Michigan is seeking an EMT-B to deliver patient care on Basic Life Support runs and document accordingly, under supervision of Shift Captain, Operations Manager and Executive Director.

This role requires a high school diploma, current EMT-B license, BCLS certification, valid driver's license, good health and approval by the County Medical Directors; part-time or full-time schedules are available.

Qualifications

• EMT-B license current with Michigan.
• BCLS certification current.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Strong physical health per pre-employment physical.
• Approved by Berrien County Project Medical Director or designee.

Responsibilities

• Render patient care to the level of licensure and training per county guidelines and medical control.
• Complete all required paperwork (run sheets, billing, daily check sheets) before leaving shift.
• Maintain current licensure and certifications as required by state and county medical control.
• Report all incidents in writing to supervisor or executive team in a timely fashion.
• Participate in community education and public service events as scheduled.
• Complete daily duties before leaving shift.
• Perform routine and basic maintenance of building and grounds as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or executive director.
