Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Great Falls, MT is seeking a Medical Support Specialist to support plasma center operations. You will determine donor eligibility, review test results, and assist with donor safety under the Center Manager and Center Physician.

You will manage donor reactions, participate in adverse event reviews, and support vaccination programs for employees. A nursing or EMT background and state licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Must have high School diploma or equivalent.
• State licensure/certification: EMT-B, EMT-A, EMT-I, EMT-P, LPN/LVN or RN.
• CPR and AED certification required.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent and donor history.
• Evaluate donor reactions and medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable results.
• Support vaccination programs for employees and report to EHS as needed.
• Assist Center Physician with medical issues and center operations.

Skills

CPR & AED certification

EMT licensing (EMT-B/EMT-A/EMT-I/EMT-P

Nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN)

Healthcare experience

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Graduate equivalent of a recognized educational nursing program
