Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• State Driver’s License.
• NY State EMT certification.
• Nassau and Suffolk REMAC credentials.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Driving record in compliance with company policy.
• Pass Physical Ability Test (PAT).
• Some healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient assessment, determine care, and deliver EMS using techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information and treatment while maintaining confidentiality.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Use appropriate skills to provide care including communications and equipment.
• Operate an ambulance in line with safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate with allied health, public safety personnel, and fellow EMTs.
