Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT-B) in Bay Shore, NY. You will respond to emergencies, assess patients, deliver care, and document information while upholding patient rights.

Starting pay is $20.35/hr and up, based on experience. Referral bonuses of $5k for a FT Paramedic and $2.5k for a PT Paramedic are offered, with terms applying. AMR is part of GMR and supports veterans and accommodations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• State Driver's License.
• NY State EMT certification.
• Nassau and Suffolk REMAC credentials.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Driving record in compliance with company policy.
• Pass Physical Ability Test (PAT).
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient assessment and determine necessary care.
• Deliver emergency and non-emergency medical services.
• Document patient information while maintaining confidentiality.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stocked environment for patients.
• Use applicable skills and equipment to deliver care.
• Coordinate with EMTs and other public safety personnel.

We'rehiringEmergency Medical Technicians(EMTs) that will respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and deliver high-quality care, treatment, and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities:

• EMTs provide an assessment of patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services by utilizing appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information, condition, andtreatmentwhile maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Take pride in providinga safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Use appropriately skills to provide care includingcommunications, medicalequipment, cleaningprocedures, office equipment, and tools.
• EMTs operate an ambulance in conjunction with applicable company safety policies, and traffic laws related to the operation of emergency medical response vehicles.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow EMTs.

MinimumRequiredQualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
