Qualifications

• Must hold a current AEMT license and certifications through the State of Utah.
• Must hold a current EMS Instructor Certification through the State of Utah and OEMSP.
• Must hold a current EMS Course Coordinator Certification through the State of Utah, OEMSP.
• Must be nationally certified as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician.
• Must possess a current American Heart Association BLS and First Aid Certification.
• Two years of relevant experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite; Canvas experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Creates, prepares, and delivers EMS content aligned to local EMS system providers.
• Gains basic knowledge of quality assurance processes and solution implementation.
• Develops and maintains protocol development, procedure research, and accurate record-keeping.
• Assists with program oversight.
• Mentors students and supports individualized success planning.
• Keeps curriculum current with industry expectations.
• Collaborates with instructors, administrators, and industry leaders to ensure a high-quality learning experience.
• Leads professional development and accreditation activities and participates in advisory committees.
