Priority Ambulance’s EMS Training Academy in Cordova, TN invites applicants to begin a fast-paced career in emergency medicine. This 11-week program blends live classroom sessions, labs, and clinical rotations to prepare you for EMT‑Basic certification, with guidance from experienced EMS professionals throughout.

Admission requires 18+, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and successful completion of a pre-employment interview, testing, and background/drug screens.

Graduates of our EMS Training Academies are offered full‑time EMT-B position with Baptist Ambulance, a proud part of the Priority Ambulance Family of Companies, with a minimum 24‑month full‑time employment commitment following licensure.

Academy Details:

• Format: Live, instructor‑led classroom sessions and labs as well as clinical rotations
• Location: Cordova, TN
• Schedule: Monday through Friday. Times vary based on schedule. (40 hours per week)
• Clinical Rotations: 84 clinical hours on Baptist Ambulances
• Program Length: 11 weeks
• Certification Level: Emergency Medical Technician — Basic

Expected from Participants:

• Full engagement with attendance to all classes, labs, and clinical rotations.
• Prompt testing for License upon course completion.
• Commitment to work for Baptist Ambulance in a full‑time position for at least 2 years following licensure.
