LifeCare Ambulance - Memphis/Mississippi seeks an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-Basic) to join our team. You will provide basic emergency and non-emergency care, respond to calls, and transport patients to medical facilities with professionalism.

Ideal candidates will have Tennessee EMT-B license, CPR certification, a valid F-endorsed license, and the ability to lift 100+ lbs. On-site uniforms, education, and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Tennessee Licensure as EMT-Basic (EMT-B) required.
• Valid Driver’s License with an F endorsement and good driving record.
• Current CPR card is required.
• Consent to a criminal background check.
• Ability to lift/push/pull at least 100+ lbs.
• High School Diploma or GED attained.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic emergency and non-emergency paramedical care.
• Respond to emergency calls and transport patients to facilities.
• Continue to provide care during transport to hospital.
• Maintain composure in stressful situations and assess medical needs to perform lifesaving procedures.
• Safely transfer patients onto stretchers and load into ambulance.

Job Summary:

LifeCare Ambulance - Memphis/Mississippi is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)-Basic to join our team of dedicated professionals. As an EMT, you will provide basic emergency and non-emergency paramedical care to the ill and injured, responding to emergency calls and transporting patients to medical facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide basic emergency and non-emergency paramedical care to the ill and injured

• Respond to emergency calls, performing medical services and transporting patients to medical facilities

• Continue to give care as necessary during the transport of the patient to the hospital

• Maintain composure in extremely stressful situations and assess medical situations to perform emergency lifesaving procedures

• Safely transfer patients onto and lift and carry stretchers into the ambulance

Requirements:

• Skills and experience incumbent to function with proficiency at the BLS level of service

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• High School Diploma or GED

• Tennessee Licensure as Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)-Basic

• Valid Driver’s License with an F endorsement and with a good driving record

• Current CPR card

• Consent to a criminal background check

• Ability to lift/push/pull at least 100+ lbs.
