Job summary

AmeriPro Health is seeking a proactive Vehicle Service Technician in Romulus, MI to keep ambulances and response vehicles clean, stocked, and in safe working order. You’ll manage the supply room, assist the Logistics Supervisor with transporting units for repairs, and perform routine inspections to ensure readiness.

You must have a high school diploma or GED, EMT and CPR/BLS certification, a valid Michigan driver license, and EVOC or a related credential.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing vehicles including knowledge of fluid levels, tire pressure and operational status of lights and equipment.
• Ability to multi-task and work under time constraints.
• Ability to safely operate the ambulance vehicle.
• Basic computer operational understanding.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and restock ambulances and response vehicles after each transport or shift.
• Mechanical check off of vehicle (fluids, tires, lights, equipment).
• Inspect vehicles and equipment for readiness and report deficiencies.
• Transport vehicles to and from service facilities as needed.
• Assist field crews and supervisors to support operations.
• Complete required documentation and inspection logs accurately and timely.
