AmeriPro Health in Romulus, MI seeks an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to deliver Basic Life Support and safe transport. You will assess patients, perform BLS interventions, and support Paramedics while upholding safety and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current EMT certification/licensure in good standing.
• Current NREMT certification if required by state.
• PHTLS/ITLS training preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and provide BLS interventions (CPR, oxygen, bleeding control, splinting, vitals).
• Assist Paramedics by preparing equipment and performing delegated ALS tasks.
• Monitor patient condition during transport and relay updates to the Paramedic or receiving facility.
• Document BLS care and patient interactions accurately in electronic systems.
• Operate the ambulance safely per driving standards and regulations.
• Maintain ambulance and equipment readiness through inspections and restocking.
• Perform stretcher operations and assist with lifting and securing patients.
• Participate in required training and quality improvement activities.
