Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Emergency Medical Science or equivalent.
• Current NC Paramedic certification required.
• Instructor certification in ITLS preferred or sponsored.
• BCLS/ACLS/PALS instructor credentials preferred.
• EVD license and NFPA certifications required or preferred.
• Five years paramedic experience and ability to teach training programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA reviews of pre-hospital and inter-facility transport records.
• Serve as Software Administrator for EMS electronic charting system.
• Implement changes to charting to meet reporting standards.
• Document performance improvement activities accurately.
• Present educational programs within EMS and related agencies.
• Provide direct patient care as needed based on demand.
• Recruitment and retention program development support.
