Qualifications

• Associates degree in Emergency Medical Science or equivalent required.
• Current NC Paramedic certification required.
• Current paramedic instructor certification (Level I) required.
• ITLS instructor certification preferred.
• BCLS/ACLS/PALS certifications required.
• Emergency Vehicle Driver (EVD) certification required.
• NIMS 100/200/700 certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Performs Quality Assurance reviews of pre-hospital and inter-facility transport of medical records.
• Serves as Software Administrator for the EMS electronic charting system.
• Implements changes to charting systems to comply with reporting standards.
• Document performance improvement activities accurately and timely.
• Provide direct patient care as needed based on system/operational demand.
• Assist with presentation of educational programs within EMS.
• Participate in recruitment and retention program development.
