Qualifications

• Experience: 1 year bedside care in a 42-bed unit.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements professional nursing care for patients.
• Assumes charge nurse responsibilities as assigned.
• Administers medication as ordered by physician.
• Maintains patient care records accurately.
• Establishes collaborative relationships with health system and medical staff.
• Responds to life-threatening situations and monitors care outcomes.
• Supports cost containment and accurate charging for services.
• Adapts care to age-specific needs and cultural considerations.
