Job summary

Three Rivers Ambulance Authority is seeking a Clinical Educator in Fort Wayne, IN to develop and deliver clinical education and competency training for EMS personnel. You will support onboarding, ongoing education, and skills assessments, reporting to the Clinical Director to align with regulatory and clinical standards.

You will also coordinate simulations, evaluations, and remediation plans, contributing to patient safety and continuous professional development across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Current Indiana Paramedic certification.
  • Current CPR/BLS, ACLS, PHTLS, AMLS, and PEPP certifications.
  • Obtain card class instructor certifications in AMLS, PHTLS, ACLS, EVOS, CPR, PEPP within a year of position.
  • Minimum of 1 year of progressive EMS field experience.
  • Experience as a preceptor, field training officer, instructor, educator, or mentor is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, coordinate, and deliver clinical education programs for EMS personnel and training.
  • Provide classroom, hands‑on, simulation-based, and competency-focused training.
  • Assist with annual clinical education plans and continuing education on EMS practices.
  • Maintain records of training, certifications, and competency assessments.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Director and other departments to support onboarding and competency evaluation.
