Job summary

Eversource Energy, a major utility with operations in Connecticut, seeks an engineering support professional to assist CONVEX systems including EMS/SCADA, desktop applications, and data management. The role involves database updates, R/TU testing, and data retrieval at participant sites.

The candidate should be prepared for on-call duties and potential emergency restoration assignments, with experience in engineering, computers, or telemetry and a strong client-service mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus two years of formal technical training in computer science or electrical engineering or the equivalent.
• Two to four years of related experience for the "B" level.
• Five to six years of related experience for the "A" level.
• Zero to two years for the "C" level.
• On-call availability and emergency restoration assignments.

Responsibilities

• Support desktop computer applications, the CONVEX EMS, and the CONVEX Transmission System.
• Perform database updates and display building/data link updates.
• Conduct remote terminal unit testing and data retrieval for participants on request.
