Job summary

VMSC Emergency Medical Services is seeking a Risk & Safety Specialist to own the organization-wide risk and safety program, protecting staff, patients, fleet, and assets across all service lines. You will manage the Samsara fleet camera system, conduct incident investigations, and develop CAPA plans while driving a proactive safety culture.

You will coordinate with maintenance, leadership, and regulatory bodies, ensuring OSHA and EMS safety standards are met across Pennsylvania and Delaware

Qualifications

• Three+ years of EMS/public safety safety or risk-management experience.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and EMS safety standards.
• Hands-on fleet telematics and safety platform experience; Samsara preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the Samsara fleet camera and telematics program across 21-vehicle fleet.
• Review safety events daily and coach drivers with data-driven methods.
• Maintain driver safety scorecards and safety dashboards; drive training where needed.
• Lead incident investigations with RCA and CAPA plans; coordinate with insurers and legal.
