Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Wisconsin Dells is seeking an EMS & Safety Manager to lead the resort's EMS program and ensure a safe environment for guests and associates. The role focuses on comprehensive safety planning, incident investigations, and loss-prevention strategies across multiple locations.

Ideal candidates have at least five years of EMS/EMT experience and hold NREMT or Wisconsin EMS licensure (or EMT/AEMT).

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) or EMT-related role.
• Experience leading safety programs and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the resort EMS department.
• Conduct investigations of accidents, close calls, and other safety-related incidents with safety leadership.
• Ensure all guest and associate incident reports are completed timely, completely, and accurately.
• Manage incident report documentation files and ensure consistency with standards.
• Assist with production of documents for corporate claims department.
• Complete guest follow-ups after an incident.

EMS & Safety Manager

We are inviting you to apply for the EMS & Safety Manager position. In this role you are responsible for providing and maintaining a safe and healthy workplace for employees and guests through comprehensive and effective safety planning and programming. The EMS Manager incorporates loss-prevention strategies and management for the protection of assets and ensures the company is operating within the parameters of all environmental, health and safety compliance and regulations.

We require that you have background, consisting of five years’ experience in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) related position.

One of the following certifications are required:

• National Registry of EMTs (NREMT)
• State of Wisconsin EMS Licensure
• Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT)
• Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMT)

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the resort EMS department.
• Conduct investigations of accidents, close calls, and other safety-related incidents occurring with guests and/or associates in conjunction with safety leadership.
• Ensuring all Guest and Associate incident reports are being completed in a timely , complete, and accurate manner.
• Managing incident report documentation files. Ensuring each is well documented and consistent with standards.
• Assisting with production of documents when requested by the corporate claims department.
• Completing guest follow-ups after an incident.
