Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Resort EMT to ensure guest, associate and vendor safety across aquatic and dry venues, convention spaces, and resort properties. You will apply lifesaving and first aid when needed while upholding the resort’s safety standards and customer-first approach.

Ideal candidates have current First Aid and EMT certification, plus the ability to work across multiple locations and meet regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Current First Aid Certificate including oxygen usage and AED.
• EMT certification (state registry, national registry) required or approved by Medical Advisor.

Responsibilities

• Understand all policies, procedures, safety guidelines and training for waterpark venues.
• Apply lifesaving skills and first aid to guests or associates in need.
• Maintain high safety standards per Kalahari procedures and national safety guidelines.
• Ensure guests feel welcome, safe and receive responsive, courteous service.
• Comply with applicable federal, state, county and municipal health and safety regulations.

Resort EMT

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking aResort EMT.In this role, you will be responsible for the safety of guests, associates, vendors, contractors, and otherpersons in all aquatic and dry attractions, public area, convention center, resort rooms, studenthousing, parking lots and other resort property while on duty; applying life-saving skills and first aidto any person(s) who is in need.

As part of our team, you’ll embody our Promise toLead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences.Your professionalism and helpful attitude will set the tone for a positive overall impression of the Kalahari.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, safety guidelines and training programs for all waterpark venues.


• Apply lifesaving skills and first aid to any guest/associate who is in need quickly.


• Maintain the high standards set forth by the National Aquatics Safety Company and the Kalahari safety procedures through leading by example and supporting all staff members.


• Ensure that all guests feel welcome and safe and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service always.


• Fully understand and comply with all Federal, State, County and Municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of waterpark outlets/venues, associates and guests.

What We’re Looking For

• We do require that you have a background, consisting of:Current First Aid Certificate required including Oxygen usage and Automated External Defibrillation (AED). Candidates are required to have current EMT (Basic, Advanced, Paramedic) State Registry, National Registry, and the Medical Advisor must approve for their licensure before hiring is approved -- dependent upon site location.
