Job summary
KLA Industries in the Fremont area, CA is seeking a hands-on Quality Engineering Manager to lead the quality team in an EMS/PCBA environment. This is 100% onsite, full-time, with a salary range of $130,000–$150,000.
You will own customer-facing quality activities, drive 8D, CAPA, and root-cause analysis, and ensure ISO/AS standards compliance across SMT, Through-Hole and NPI.
Lead and develop the team to deliver measurable quality improvements and higher customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of quality experience in an Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) environment.
- Minimum 3 years of quality leadership or management experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with PCBA and Box Build manufacturing
- Proven customer-facing quality management experience, including customer escalations, audits, and complaint resolution.
- Strong expertise in root cause analysis, 8D, CAPA, and corrective action programs
- Experience supporting SMT, Through-Hole, Functional Test, Final Inspection, and NPI processes
- Knowledge of quality systems and compliance, including ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100, and IATF 16949.
- Experience driving continuous improvement, defect reduction, yield improvement, and reducing scrap/rework
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop quality engineering teams
