Job summary

Boston Public Health Commission seeks a program manager to sustain and improve EMS prehospital initiatives in Boston. The role collaborates with the Office of the Medical Director, Field Operations, Dispatch, and other offices to advance MIH EDA, telehealth, and alternative destination programs, while promoting health equity.

You will lead complex projects, analyze performance data, develop policies and training, and coordinate with partners.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in related field or Bachelor's with 4+ years experience.
• Self-directed with excellent oral and written communication.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and complex tasks.
• Experience with basic data analysis and using data to inform decisions.
• Ability to develop data visualization skills.
• Team player with leadership potential and independent work capability.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Access; Power BI/RedCap preferred.
• Knowledge of Boston's healthcare system is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills for partnerships and conflict resolution.
• Willingness to address racism, social determinants of health, and equity.

Responsibilities

• Lead admin duties for MIH EDA programs and related projects.
• Monitor performance, evaluate metrics, and develop new measures.
• Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to drive improvements.
• Conduct field observations to inform operations and needs.
• Use evidence to optimize service design and outcomes.
• Develop policies, training curriculums, and materials.
• Prepare briefing materials, templates, and reports.
• Support contracts, budgets, and funding applications.
• Coordinate with external partners for EMS initiatives.
• Ensure documentation and state reporting compliance.
• Perform data analysis and collaborate with researchers on IRB/DUA.
• Uphold HIPAA confidentiality and anti-racism goals.
• Perform other duties as required.
