Job summary

J T is seeking a Manufacturing Technical Engineering Manager to lead the electronics EMS/PCBA data and programming teams in Seymour, CT. You will manage BOMs, CAD data, Gerber files, and SMT programming across a high-mix production environment.

The role reports to the Director of Engineering & Technology and requires deep expertise in PCBA processes, IPC standards, and ERP/MES systems. A hands-on approach with process automation is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5+ years in electronics EMS/SMT programming or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience leading technical teams in high-mix PCBA environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead Technical Engineering, Document Control, and SMT Programming teams.
• Ensure BOMs, CAD/centroid data, Gerber files, and SMT programs are accurate and released on schedule.
• Oversee data reviews, ECOs, and QA/QC for manufacturing data.
• Automate repetitive data tasks and develop VBA tools/Excel templates for workflows.
• Collaborate with Operations, Process Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to align data with build plans.
