Lynx EMS is recruiting an Operations Manager to direct day-to-day operations at the Massillon location. The role leads supervisors, coordinates with hospitals and nursing facilities, and drives improvements in staffing, policies, and operational efficiency.

You will oversee scheduling, HR tasks, and reporting, ensuring compliance with Lynx EMS standards while maintaining personnel safety and service quality across shifts.

Qualifications

• State EMT licensing and certification.
• Knowledge of EMS policies and procedures.
• Experience in management and supervision.
• Ability to work under stress and make informed decisions.
• Strong staffing, scheduling, and HR capabilities.
• Inventory control experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to lead across multiple site locations.
• Proficient PC software skills.
• Knowledge of hospital and nursing facility operations.

Responsibilities

• Meet with Operations Supervisors daily to review staffing and scheduling.
• Liaise between Supervisors, hospitals, and Regional Manager; provide updates.
• Identify and improve administrative and operational functions; document guidance.
• Review policies; assist in creating new policies.
• Assess staffing and equipment needs for budgeting.
• Maintain full-time regular schedule and verify shift staffing.
• Participate in human resources responsibilities and staff reporting.
• Inspect stations, vehicles, and equipment for cleanliness and maintenance.
• Attend meetings and remain reachable off duty.
• Other tasks as needed to ensure operational integrity.
