Job summary

MaineHealth Ambulance Services seeks a Manager to supervise all field personnel and direct EMS operations in accordance with MaineHealth EMS and state protocols. As a key member of the MaineHealth EMS Leadership Team, this role has system‑level responsibility for advancing operational excellence, strategic priorities, and organizational performance across the EMS network.

Qualifications

• Education: Clinical education for paramedic licensure required. Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• License/Certifications: Current state licensure as Paramedic required. Valid Maine Driver's license. Active Maine EMS license: Paramedic level preferred. AVOC/EVOC required within six months of employment, IS100/700, IS200,IS300,IS400,IS703,IS704
• Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience as an EMS provider. Leadership experience preferred.

• Serves as integral member of the MaineHealth EMS Leadership Team with system-level responsibility for advancing operational excellence and strategic priorities.
• Ensures emergency service and routine transfer work is completed in a safe and efficient manner.
