Job summary

Research Medical Center is seeking an EMS Coordinator RN to join our healthcare team. You will greet EMS personnel and patients in a dedicated area and work with the CNC to plan arrivals and manage EMS surges for timely offloads.

In addition to offloading duties, you will oversee the EMS lounge, support stroke care operations, assist clinical staff, and communicate with the EMS PPR Director and Growth Governance Council on strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• RN license and RN Diploma required.
• ACLS and BLS within 30 days of start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 30 days.
• PALS or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course within 30 days.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course or ATCN within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Greet and receive EMS personnel and patients in a dedicated area.
• Collaborate with CNC to plan arrivals and manage EMS surges for timely offloads.
• Oversee the EMS lounge and stroke care area.
• Support clinical staff in patient care and downtime duties.
• Communicate with EMS PPR Director and Growth Governance Council on initiatives.
