Job summary

Research Medical Center is seeking an EMS Coordinator RN to support patients transported by EMS. The role involves welcoming EMS teams, coordinating with the CNC to ensure timely patient offloads, and overseeing the EMS lounge and stroke care area.

Collaboration with the EMS PPR Director and Growth Governance Council is expected. The position requires RN licensure and active CPR/BLS, ACLS, and related certifications within 30 days of start date, with opportunities to influence EMS workflow and

Qualifications

• ACLS/BCLS/Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 30 days of employment start date.
• PALS within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN licensure and RN Diploma required for position.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course or TNCC within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Greet and receive both patient and EMS personnel in a dedicated area.
• Coordinate with CNC to plan for inbound patients and EMS surges.
• Oversee EMS lounge and stroke care area; assist clinical staff as needed.
• Collaborate with EMS PPR Director on strategic initiatives and Growth Governance Council.
