Job summary

Gwinnett Technical College seeks a Laboratory Professional - EMT for the Health Sciences Division. This part-time, non-benefited, FLSA-exempt role reports to the EMS Program Director and is scheduled for up to 19 hours weekly, with duties including classroom, lab, and online instruction.

Minimum qualifications include an associate’s degree in a health-related field and a Georgia Paramedic license or NREMT; two years as EMT/AEMT.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a health-related field or higher.
• Georgia Paramedic license or NREMT Paramedic and minimum two years as EMT/AEMT/paramedic.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in health-related field and teaching experience in a CoAEMSP Accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Teach face-to-face, hybrid, and online classes.
• Prepare lesson plans and develop program outlines, goals, and objectives.
• Maintain documentation and program certification requirements.
• Assist with recruitment, retention, and job placement efforts.
