Job summary

West Georgia Technical College is seeking an EMS Lab Assistant to support the Program Director and lead instructor in classroom and lab settings. Responsibilities include coordinating with faculty, preparing documentation, and ensuring safety in the lab environment while adapting to face-to-face, online, or hybrid instruction as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: National Registry Advanced EMT or Paramedic license for 2+ years; Valid Driver’s License; Knowledge of EMS program evaluation of student learning and performance.
• Preferred: College-level teaching experience, EMSInstructor credential, CPR certification, Blackboard LMS experience, Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Program Director and lead instructor in instructing, supervising, and evaluating students in classroom/lab settings.
• Prepare and maintain required documentation and administrative reports.
• Maintain supplies and equipment; ensure safety and compliance in the lab.
• Schedule and coordinate lab activities and travel as needed.
