Job summary

Colorado Mountain College in Colorado is seeking a part-time EMS Assistant/Instructor to monitor equipment, assist faculty with EMS skills demonstrations, and help create a safe, professional learning environment. This role supports the Lead EMS Instructor and may involve simulation or real-world EMS training.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, EMT-B (or NREMT/state) certification, and related experience; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Education and experience sufficient for the rigors of the position.
• High School Diploma and three years of related experience or equivalent education.
• EMT-B Certificate and competency in all BLS skills or current NREMT/certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment inventory, clean, and organize equipment.
• Assist faculty with EMS skill demonstrations as directed by the lead instructor.
• Support learning environment and course objectives.
• Provide remediation support for student skills when requested.
