Fayetteville Technical Community College seeks an Emergency Medical Science Instructor for Continuing Education to teach EMS courses in non-credit programs. The role requires clinical EMS expertise and solid instructional skills in a community college setting.

The instructor develops curricula, facilitates hands-on and online training, assesses learner outcomes, and ensures adherence to EMS standards. Expect collaboration across campuses and ongoing professional development.

Qualificações

• Associate’s Degree in Emergency Medical Science (EMS) or related field.
• Must be credentialed as a North Carolina Paramedic.
• At least 3 years’ experience working in the field as a cleared Paramedic.
• Must have or be able to attain a North Carolina Level I EMS Instructor certification within 1 year.
• Must have American Heart Association BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
• ITLS or PHTLS Certification.
• Hepatitis B series begun/completed and current with required immunizations and CPR.
• Excellent oral and written communication; proficient in Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsabilidades

• Teach EMS courses according to curriculum with assigned load.
• Prepare syllabi and approved course outlines for all sections.
• Plan and facilitate learning strategies to maximize student learning.
• Modify instruction to meet diverse student needs and provide referrals as needed.
• Maintain currency with instructional techniques and technologies; update courses as needed.
• Deliver face-to-face and online instruction; ensure safety and compliance.
