Volunteer State Community College invites applications for an Adjunct Noncredit Instructor- EMS Education (Pool). The role focuses on delivering quality EMS instruction using integrative technologies across on-ground, online, hybrid, and distance-based modalities.

Minimum qualifications include an Associate's Degree with at least five years of EMS experience as a paramedic and two years of instructional experience, plus licensure eligibility in Tennessee.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree from a regionally accredited institution with minimum five years full-time EMS experience as a paramedic and at least two years of instructional experience in EMS training or programs.
• Must meet CAAHEP/CoAEMSP accreditation recommendations and Tennessee Department of Health/Office of EMS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver courses via on-ground, online, hybrid or web-enhanced modalities as assigned.
• Teach evening, weekend, off-campus, dual enrollment and distance-based courses as required.
• Submit syllabi updates at least 2 weeks before class start or within seven days of contract execution.
• Check VSCC email and departmental mailbox; respond within 48 hours, excluding weekends.
