Job summary

Global Medical Response operates base pilot supervision for emergency medical transport aircraft, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and company manuals. The Base Pilot Supervisor leads line pilots, coordinates schedules, flight planning, and safety reviews at the base, working with the Program Director to keep operations efficient and compliant.

Requirements include extensive helicopter flight time, PIC hours, turbine exposure, and night hours.

Qualifications

• 2000 hours total flight time with helicopter experience is required.
• Experience numbers specify helicopter time, PIC and turbine hours.
• Night flying experience is specified in hours.

Responsibilities

• Develops and coordinates pilot duty schedules with Regional Director of Flight Operations.
• Oversees flight planning activities and resources for mission support at the base.
• Conducts local area orientations for new hire pilots.
• Monitors weather and forecasts to support operations.
• Ensures base pilots’ payroll grids are submitted on time.
