Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant License.
• Live within 90 minutes of the MedFlight Hangar.
• Ability to pass pre-employment/background checks.
• Willing to work days/nights/weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on EMS helicopters per FAA and manufacturer guidelines.
• Inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair helicopter systems (structural, mechanical, electrical, avionics).
• Maintain aircraft records, logbooks and documentation.
• Update computer maintenance/inventory software and track parts.
• Maintain parts inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
• Provide technical guidance to others and participate in company training.
• Operate company vehicles and assist with hangar upkeep.
• Work varied shifts including nights and weekends as required.
