Delta Electronics Americas is looking for an experienced professional to develop and validate real-time control applications focusing on grid-forming and protection systems. The ideal candidate should possess a BS/MS in Electrical/Power Engineering and have at least 5 years of relevant experience.

The role involves operating with IEC 61850 standards, collaborating on SCADA data interfaces, and executing HIL validation. Candidates should also demonstrate cybersecurity awareness and familiarity with hybrid microgrid architectures.

Competenze

• 5+ years experience in real-time microgrid, substation automation, or protection-and-control development.
• Hands-on experience with at least one commercial EMS platform.
• Familiarity with grid-forming inverter controls and hybrid microgrid architectures.

Mansioni

• Develop and validate Real-time control applications for grid and protection coordination.
• Implement IEC 61850 GOOSE publish/subscribe maps.
• Design V/f and P/Q droop logic for load shedding and blackstart sequences.
