Job summary

MMT Ambulance is seeking a Fleet Shop Foreman to lead diagnostics, PMs, and repairs of our ambulance fleet. You will mentor technicians, document work in our Fleet Information System, and coordinate parts and service orders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of motor vehicles/light trucks.
• Ability to document maintenance in Fleet Information System.
• Able to lead and mentor technician staff.
• Knowledge of diagnostic procedures and fleet systems.
• Proficient in MS Office and telematics.
• Strong communication and decision-making under pressure.
• ASE or manufacturer certifications preferred.
• Experience with ambulance or emergency vehicles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles/equipment.
• Diagnoses, rebuilds, and repairs vehicles and equipment.
• Leads and mentors assigned Fleet Technicians.
• Ensures maintenance is documented in the Fleet Information System.
• Coordinates repairs and logistics with crews and management.
• Participates in technician recruitment and selection.
• Handles administrative duties as required.
