Job summary

MMT Ambulance is seeking an experienced EMS fleet mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain our ambulance fleet in North Canton, Ohio. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose failures, and ensure all vehicle systems operate reliably.

The role requires a valid driver's license, ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment, and familiarity with light diesel and gas repairs. ASE or manufacturer certifications are preferred; strong documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Experience with ambulance or emergency vehicle maintenance preferred.
• Proficiency in light diesel and gasoline vehicle repair.
• Ability to document actions accurately in Fleet Management System.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses, rebuilds, and repairs ambulances and equipment.
• Performs inspections and preventive maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
• Documents vehicle records in Fleet Management System.
• Executes major and minor repairs of defective components and vehicle systems.
• Sourcing and procurement of parts through national accounts.
• Maintain organized and safe work environment.
