Air Methods is seeking pilots for Black Hills Life Flight in Rapid City, SD. Candidates must maintain airworthiness with FAR/AIM/GOM guidelines and support 24/7 EMS operations with a 12-hour shift schedule (7/7).

Competitive pay ranges from $82,900 to $93,251 plus stipends and a sign-on bonus, with relocation support available. In addition to the base salary, the role offers a $12,000 experience stipend, a $3,000 IFR stipend, and a $40,000 base stipend.

Qualifikationen

• Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent with 2–5 years’ related experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• MUST meet aviation certification and medical requirements per FAA standards.
• Reasonable accommodations available under applicable laws.

Aufgaben

• Operates Air Methods aircraft in a safe and legal manner.
• Completes pre-flight checks and daily flight log sign-off; performs walk-around.
• Maintains final authority for aircraft operations and safety of passengers, cargo and equipment.
• Performs detailed flight planning and coordinates with EMS and medical teams.
• Participates in meetings, projects and community outreach; performs other duties as assigned.
