AMR in Corning, NY is seeking a Supervisor/Crew Chief on the ambulance management team responsible for day-to-day operations, field coordination, equipment and supply maintenance, and acting as liaison with patients and partner agencies.

The role requires NYS EMT or Paramedic certification, CPR/ACLS, three years EMS experience, and leadership skills; starting pay is $21.32/hr with potential to advance to $33/hr based on certification and experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Current NYS EMT or Paramedic certification.
• Current CPR, PHLTS and ACLS certifications where applicable.
• Three years EMS experience required; EMT/Paramedic field experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Directs, monitors, communicates with and evaluates all field employees in his/her assigned area.
• Acts as a liaison with patients, public safety agencies, training institutions, hospital personnel, and other system users.
• Ensures maintenance of qualified field operations through daily contact, oversight, communication and evaluation.
• Assists with preparation of employee evaluations and field crew contact reports.
• Ensures PCRs and other field paperwork is reconciled daily with PCR processing.
• Implements and enforces company policies and standards.
• Performs direct patient care activities and coordinates resources during mass casualty or disaster operations.
• Maintains availability for scheduled meetings and drives department budgets and staffing.
• Mentors employees, conducts performance evaluations and provides disciplinary actions as needed.
