Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking an EMS and Electrical Supervisor in Phoenix, AZ. You will supervise and direct an EMS and Electrical team to install control system hardware, cabling, and conduit for refrigeration and building energy management upgrades.

You will lead installation and maintenance across supermarkets, convenience stores, and foodservice sites, coordinating resources, reading blueprints, and ensuring safety while meeting AMS standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with electrical systems in commercial construction
• 5+ years of project management and on-site foreman responsibilities
• High School diploma or GED
• Valid State Driver's License
• Progressive work experience leading to supervisory role
• Willingness to travel 50-70% of the time

Responsibilities

• Lead the installation and maintenance of EMS and Electrical systems.
• Coordinate personnel and resources for job sites and projects.
• Assist on job sites to provide support as needed.
• Address employee performance and conduct issues with HR as needed.
• Develop and train new employees to meet AMS qualifications and standards.
• Read blueprints and interpret control and ladder logic diagrams.
• Use voltmeters, multimeters, amprobes, manometers, and RPM indicators.
• Execute plans of control wiring and other electrical systems.
• Install electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment for alarms and systems.
• Connect wiring and prepare conduits for wiring.
• Inspect and replace old wiring to prevent system failures.
• Troubleshoot to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
