UW Health SwedishAmerican Hospital in northern Illinois is seeking a qualified emergency services professional for a per diem position with a varied day/evening schedule. Preferred candidates include active EMT-P or RN with field and teaching experience; a current Illinois paramedic license; BLS and ACLS instructor certifications within the first year; and at least two years of Emergency Services experience.

Per diem, varied schedule. Day/Evening shift, M-F, hours vary depending on classes and educational opportunities. You will work at the UW Health SwedishAmerican Hospital.

Additional components of compensation may include:

• Evening, night, and weekend shift differential

Qualifications

Work Experience

• Prefer active EMT-P, RN with current field and teaching experience. Preferred
• At least two years field experience in Emergency Services. Required

Licenses & Certifications

• Within first year of employment must attain the following certifications; Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instructor, Pediatric Advanced Life Support Instructor, Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support Instructor, Basic Life Support Instructor. Required
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required
• Current Illinois Paramedic licensure within the State of Illinois. Required
