Job summary

UCHealth University of Colorado Health in Pueblo is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Room team. This onsite role emphasizes clinical quality, performance improvement, and rapid decision-making to uplift patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license, a nursing degree (BSN preferred), and 2 years of nursing experience, with certifications (NIHSS, ACLS, ENPC/PALS on hire; TNCC/ATCN within 1 year). BLS is required and must remain valid through start.

Qualifications

RN with license to practice nursing in the state
Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
2 years of nursing experience required (trauma/ka quality improvement preferred)
ACLS, ENPC or PALS required on hire; TNCC/ATCN within 1 year
BLS required; BLS card valid through start date or beyond

Responsibilities

Identify key clinical quality and patient safety measures and promote their use
Prioritize and execute performance improvement plans for clinical performance
Document and analyze processes; develop indicators for studies and projects
Support data collection methodologies and stakeholder collaboration to improve care
Demonstrate critical thinking and decisive action in a fast-paced environment
