Advocate Health is seeking an EMT Program Educator for the Burlington, WI area. This full-time role involves creating and delivering EMS education across provider levels, collaborating with ED and hospital leadership to align with best practices and program goals.

The position requires an RN license in the practicing state, Wisconsin EMT-Intermediate or Paramedic credentials, NREMT-Intermediate, and an EMS Instructor I within 18 months, plus BLS and ACLS per policy.

Qualifications

RN license in the state where you practice.
EMS licensure at EMT Intermediate or Paramedic level as required by Wisconsin.
NREMT-Intermediate certification.
EMS Instructor I certification expected within 18 months.
BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA) certification.
ACLS to be obtained within 0 months unless exempt by department leadership.

Responsibilities

Create and teach EMS education programs aligning with state and national standards.
Coordinate and standardize EMS program operations, education, budgeting, and policies.
Collaborate with ED and hospital leadership to improve EMS outcomes and service delivery.
Provide on-scene medical direction and assess protocol compliance as directed by EMS Medical Director.
Develop training outlines and objectives for EMS education initiatives.
