Job summary

Bellin College is seeking an EMS Education Coordinator/Instructor II to lead its Paramedic and EMT education programs. The role emphasizes curriculum development, instructional delivery, student advising, and accreditation support.

The ideal candidate is a licensed Paramedic with leadership experience and a passion for teaching. Responsibilities include mentoring instructors, coordinating curriculum, and ensuring high-quality EMS education aligned with accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, i.e. Education, Leadership.
• Wisconsin Paramedic License or National Registry of EMS Paramedic certification.
• American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Documentation of current certification with the NREMT at the Paramedic level.
• Proof of equivalency of 2 years’ experience as a licensed, practicing Paramedic.
• Current State of WI license at or above the level of Paramedic.
• State of WI DHS EMS Instructor II license preferred: or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS instructor preferred; or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of curriculum development, effecting teaching/learning and evaluation of programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Paramedic and EMT education programs.
• Develop curricula and provide classroom and clinical instruction.
• Advise students and support program evaluation and accreditation.
• Mentor instructors to ensure high-quality EMS education delivery.
