Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current Ohio licensure as a paramedic per Ohio Board requirements.
  • Graduate of an approved paramedic program; Ohio EMS Instructor 2 credential.
  • Minimum of five years working as a paramedic; teaching paramedic students for at least 3 years.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate didactic, lab, clinical and field internship instruction for EMT and paramedic students.
  • Deliver quality education that adheres to curriculum standards and employing effective teaching practices.
  • Assist in day-to-day activities under the Associate Director of Fire and EMS Programming.
