Job summary

Cullman Regional Ambulance Service in Cullman, AL is seeking a PRN Dispatcher II to handle 911 and non-emergency calls, dispatch ambulances, and maintain situational awareness.

This role requires a high school diploma, CPR, APCO and Priority Dispatch EMD/EFD certifications within 6 months, and training on CAD/911 systems; Spillman CAD experience preferred. Excellent communication and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; APCO and Priority Dispatch EMD/EFD certifications within 6 months.
• Must maintain CPR certification.
• Training on CAD and 911 phone systems until proficient.
• Dispatch experience with Spillman CAD preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch all 911 and non-emergency calls.
• Dispatch ambulances and provide directions to calls.
• Maintain situational awareness of EMS system needs.
• Maintain paperwork and records as required.
• Demonstrate teamwork and ensure excellent patient/guest experiences.
• Uphold patient safety and quality.
