Job summary

Cullman Regional is seeking a Full Time EMS professional to provide basic emergency medical care and transport for critically ill or injured patients in Cullman, AL. You will operate EMS vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and maintain PCR records.

Applicants must be 21+, have EMT/driver credentials, and pass MedPAT annually; EVOC certification and CPR are required. Degree preferred and ICS training completed are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Must meet physical requirements described and pass MedPAT annually.
• EVOC certification required before hire date.
• CPR certification and EMT/driver credentials required.
• ICS courses 100/200/700/701/702/703/704/800 listed as required training.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic emergency medical care and transport of patients.
• Observe traffic regulations for emergency vehicle operation.
• Maintain PCR documentation and supporting records.
• Daily vehicle and supply checks; replace fluids and supplies as needed.
• Assist with shift duties including cleaning building and trucks.
• Demonstrate teamwork and ensure patient/guest experiences.
• Uphold patient safety and quality throughout all tasks.

Job Summary

• Provide basic emergency medical care and transport of the critically ill and injured patients who access the EMS system.
• Observe all traffic ordinances and regulations concerning the emergency vehicle operation.
• Maintain a record of PCR documentation with all additional supportive documentation necessary.
• Daily maintenance check and supply check; all fluids and supplies must be replaced as necessary.
• Assist with all duties as assigned by shift supervisor to include cleaning the building and the trucks.
• Demonstrate and encourage team behavior and exceptional patient/guest experiences.
• Uphold and promote patient safety and quality.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent, basic EMT/driver, and other required credentialing. Degree preferred.

Experience

Must be at least 21 years of age with a good driving record. Experience is helpful.

Additional Skills/Abilities

Must meet physical requirements of job described. Must pass the MedPAT (Medical Physical Agility Test) annually. Must obtain EVOC prior to hire date and maintain certification.ICS courses required are 100, 200, 700, 701, 702, 703, 704, 800 and CPR.
