Job summary

Grady Health System in Atlanta seeks an Emergency Care Communications Specialist (ECCS) to manage all EMS communications for the Emergency Care Center and coordinate specialty response activations across the system. This role reports to the EMS Liaison Manager and has no direct reports.

Qualified candidates bring a Georgia Paramedic license, a HS diploma or GED, and 3+ years EMS experience, with 5+ years in high-volume systems.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Georgia Paramedic License required.
• 3+ years Paramedic/EMS experience required.
• 5+ years EMS experience in a high-volume system or communications center preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all EMS communication for the Emergency Care Center.
• Coordinate activation of trauma, stroke, burn, STEMI specialty response teams across the health system.
• Report to the EMS Liaison Manager; no direct reports.
