Job summary

Grady Health System in Atlanta, GA seeks Emergency Care Communications Specialists (ECCS) to handle all EMS communication for the Emergency Care Center and to activate trauma, stroke, burn, and STEMI response teams across the health system.

This role reports to the EMS Liaison Manager and has no direct reports; candidates must hold a Georgia Paramedic license, multiple years EMS experience, and AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Current Georgia Paramedic License.
• (3) + years Paramedic/EMS experience.
• (5) + years Paramedic/EMS experience in a high-volume system or communications center.
• American Heart Association (BLS) Basic Life Support Certification.
• American Heart Association (ACLS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certification.

Responsibilities

• Handle all EMS communication for the Emergency Care Center and activation of trauma, stroke, burn, and STEMI response teams across the health system.
• Reports to the EMS Liaison Manager; no direct reports.

Education

High School Diploma or GED
